Last week Kazuki Sado and Janneke were in Compiègne to take part in the 3*CDI. They arrived on Wednesday and the veterinary  assessment of Belllisimo was executed on Thursday which was completed without any  trouble. Friday Kazuki started with Bellisimo in the Grand Prix. Bell was very fresh and there occurred some mistakes in the gallop part of the test.  Nevertheless the combination scored 61.5%. Unfortunately Kazuki observed some sensibilities in his horse on which they decided not to take part in the kur on music which was to take place on Sunday. After a thorough examination at the vet today it appeared that Bell had a slight injury at his SI joint. This has been treated and  in consideration with the vet we decided to cancel the competition in Brno (Tsjechie)which was to take place next week.  Kazuki hopes to be able to start again 1 /4 July at the CDI4* in Arnhem!

At the invitation of Topiberian Janneke started at the overwhelming competition at Mallorca with her Grand Prix horse Zirocco. Monday morning Paul van Riet departed with the horses Zirocco and Witsche ( the light touring horse of Kebie van der Heijden) and groom Roos hermans to the south. After an overnight stay in Lyon and in Barcelona the horses went by boat to Mallorca. On Wednesday they arrived at Malloca and after that they had one more hour to drive to the competition terrain at El Fangar. Janneke en Kebie flew that day too and in the evening everything was settled. Thursday the veterinary check went without problems and Friday was the first day of the competition in which the Grand Prix was performed with at least 30 combinations. Janneke rode a nice proof and scored 67.6% which resulted in a neat 11th place. Saturday was a day off and on Sunday the kur was performed. Janneke scored 68.3% which resulted again in an 11th place. All in all they were very satisfied with results achieved in this rather strong field of participants.

 

In preparation tot he coming selections in Perl Kazuki Sado with Siroco and Louisa Yeh with Urban legand departed for Nice Tuesdaymorning. They arrived safely at the côte d Ázur with super groom Janise Lu and super driver Paul on Wednesday. On Thursday both horses passed the veterinary check without problems and Friday morning Louisa was the first to start with Urban in the PSG. She rode a nice proof but made 2 big mistakes after both the pirouettes. This resulted in a 3^rd place with 66%. Kazuki  was to perform with Ziroco in the evening. Because of the heat a midday stop had been inserted. Kazuki rode his best proof ever and at last achieved the 64% percentage to be able to participate in the Japanese team in Perl! On Saturday Louisa rode a super proof with The Golden Urban Legend in the intermediair 1 and achieved a score of 69% and second place. Saturday was a day off for Kazuki. Sunday was the day of the kur. Louisa maintained her form and became second again. Kazuki’s proof  was a bit less strong but achieved a second place in the end.

 

 

On Saturday afternoon the sub top competition was ridden in Wezep. Janneke her 11 year old descendent of San Remo, Ziroco in the Grand Prix. It was the first time after a short break after the international competitions in Vidauban and Barcelona. Ziroco was very good and ran a flawless Grand Prix. They won the proof with a score of a good 70%.
